Exactly, it was a hollow victory so no fanfare what so ever from me at least. Those who fought on the other side fought bravely but even with (according to some anonymous sources I have) there were times where there were over 130-160 pilots on within their militia and we had < 70 and I saw maybe 5-10 different combatants on a 2 hour roam its not like there really was a challenge compared to other times we were less successful. The pirates put up more of a fight. |

Still money to be made though I would think null has more opportunities. |

I wish you all the best, Imperials. I would gladly come and help myself to repent this tribal menace, but unfortunately, my hands are bound in our warzone, because gallant occupants are keep pressing and oppressing our population as well, and my duty first belongs to our people, who suffer from gallente subjugation and inhuman tortures. The Caldari will come, they MUST come.....
No seriously, new opponents would be greatly appreciated. |

We already see many more participants using the opportunity to make a profit as the motivation to switch sides regularly. I doubt a medal will be more enticing. Well said. That and the large number of warp core stabs... |

Those campaigns, especially Houla, ran very smoothly from my point of view. There were plenty of things for us to be proud of, but where were CVA? Where were other groups who jumped in in the end last time? PIE was basically held up in Arzad for the latter half of this push it seemed. As you put, Siege Green moved on. Plenty to be proud of, not a lot to defend the systems it seemed. Pirates, while many being friendly to the 24IC aren't able to fight all their battles. Thats been proven I guess? |

Gaven Lok'ri wrote:PIEs pilots did extraordinarily. Especially some of our newer recruits who put their effort in and held Arzad for weeks against nearly constant superior numbers.
But eventually numbers won out, though I am quite pleased to say that it we continued to cause Matari casualties right up until the end despite insurmountable odds. Our Tormentors, Punishers, and Coercers proved more than a match for Matari Firetails, Comets, and Thrashers.
Still the Matari kept coming despite their losses, and their persistence and willingness to keep up the pressure was remarkable.
I have to agree with that. I found myself questioning my own tactics fighting some of your newer recruits than your old guard rather frequently. Whether it was Sillyak a few days ago or a few others in the past week I'm drawing a blank on specific names, A lot of the fights with your newer faces have been interesting. |

He is right to a certain degree, then again your not alone in your fight and constant vigilance isnt an absolute requirement. If you think I'm staying home when every system is under 25% contested and no ones roaming our space..... Lets just say I've already moved on to bluer pastures, until theres a specific need for our defensive roams. |

Lets just say I've already moved on to bluer pastures, until theres a specific need for our defensive roams. You could always come shoot blood raiders with me! You all did a great job taking the warzone, and I heard reports of Non-Hostile Target fleets engaging in many small gang style skirmishes with the Amarr, which made me happy to know you still continue that style of fighting. I won't deny we had our part, but many other groups did much more than we did. We mainly ran skirmish fleets and aimed to disrupt plexers and other activities. Other groups like U'K and Alwar did alot more of the heavy lifting so to speak. We'll see about an incursion into attacking blooders, at the moment were embarked in a deployment rather far away from our AO, which is largely a training exercise and also my first time and probably Claudia and Tyrel's first practical experience trying to organize/fund a deployment away from our home station. After this last push we've found our very location centric deployment strategy a major hinderance when the final push was on. Yes its been a learning experience and I can say, personally its forced me to think alot more tactically on what war materials and necessities are required to make such a deployment either successful or practical for multiple people with different preferences, depending on how you look at it. |
